Commission Disclosure
In line with SEBI and AMFI requirements, The Investments Hub discloses the nature of compensation it receives as a Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-302730).
Regular plans and direct plans
Every mutual fund scheme offers a Regular Plan and a Direct Plan. We deal in Regular Plans. Direct Plans do not involve a distributor and have a lower expense ratio because no distributor commission is paid. Investors are free to invest in Direct Plans directly with the AMC.
How we are paid
- We receive trail commission from AMCs on the value of investments made through us, for as long as those investments stay invested.
- This commission is paid by the AMC out of the scheme's total expense ratio (TER) of the Regular Plan. It is not charged to you separately.
- Upfront commissions are not permitted under SEBI regulations; all commission is paid on a trail basis.
- Commission rates differ across AMCs, schemes and categories and may change from time to time.
Transaction charges
Where applicable and as permitted by SEBI, transaction charges may be deducted from the investment amount and paid to the distributor. Any such charge is shown in your account statement.
Disclosure on request
The commission we receive for any scheme you invest in, or propose to invest in, is available on request. Your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) also shows the commission paid to the distributor for your investments.
Specialized Investment Funds
We distribute Specialized Investment Funds under the same ARN. Commission on SIF strategies is paid by the AMC as permitted under SEBI and AMFI norms, and details are available on request.
Insurance and Post Office schemes
Where we facilitate insurance products or Post Office schemes, we may receive remuneration from the insurer or as permitted under the applicable scheme rules. Details are available on request.
